The death of CS Hoover, one of the oldest residents of Marion County occurred suddenly at his home in Maywood, a suburb of Indianapolis, Thursday night at 10 o’clock. The deceased was 82 years old. His death resulted from a stroke of apoplexy. The funeral will be held at the Hoover home Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock and interment will be in the Mt. Jackson cemetery. The deceased is survived by a widow who is 76 years old and seven children who are: Mrs. Lena Selby of the city, Charles Hoover, Melvin Hoover, Harry Hoover, Enos Hoover, Miss Flora Hoover and Mrs. Mariah Wright of Indianapolis. Mrs. Selby and two daughters, Misses Jean and Irene will go to Indianapolis Sunday and Halstead Selby will go there Monday for the funeral. ---transcribed by kbz
