HOOSIER, Kitty Ann Morphew - Putnam

Mrs. Wiley Hoosier, age 73 a former resident who lived in the Fountown (?) Community died in the home of her son, Vern Hoosier in Indianapolis Tuesday night. Mrs. Hoosier was born west of North Salem March 16, 1865 the daughter of Joseph and Margaret Cox Morphew. She was married to Wiley Hoosier who passed away in 1931. She was a member of the Baptist Church at Barnard. Surviving relatives are three sons, Vern of Indianapolis, Joseph of Los Angeles, Calif; Charles of Danville, Ill; one brother, Ethridge Morphew of Crawfordsville; one sister, Mrs. Christine Eggers of Burlington Ind. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Ray Brittian in the Christian Church at North Salem, with interment in the North Salem cemetery.   --- typed by kbz
