Andrew Hood of Coatesville died from a fracture of the neck sustained while in a auto-truck accident Friday afternoon. He died at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis Saturday. --- thanks so very much to Marilyn Walker for providing her Roachdale Times obituary collection

Andrew Hood, age 73 years, an old resident of Cloverdale Township died at his home about 4 ½ miles east of Cloverdale at near noon Tuesday. Mr. Hood had been ill for some time of cancer of the stomach. The deceased is survived by three daughters and one son, namely: Miss Hood, Mrs. Carpenter, Mrs. Charles Cline and Albert Hood. Miss Hood made her home with her father while the other three lived in that vicinity. – kbz
