HOLLAND, Warren - Putnam

The sudden death of Bascom Thomas, accessor of Clinton Township on Saturday evening calls to mind the death of Warren Holland, his predecessor. Mr. Holland, while visiting relatives who live south of Greencastle last year was suddenly take ill and died within a few hours.  Mr. Thomas then was appointed to succeed him as assessor.  At the last election Mr. Thomas was elected assessor of the township.
