Hill, Van B. - Putnam

Van B. Hill, age 83 years, passed away Monday evening at 7 o’clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Vet Mann, 1 ½ miles south of Cloverdale. Mr. Hill’s home was in Belle Union but he came to the home of his daughter several weeks ago when he became ill.  He is survived by the two daughters, Mrs. Mann and Mrs. Otho Vermillion of near Cloverdale; one son, Rollie Hill of Indianapolis; one sister, Mrs. Savannah Cohn of Belle Union, one brother Ott Hill of Belle Union and several grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Union Valley Church in charge of Rev. Gilbert McCammack. Burial in Forest Hill Cemetery – Greencastle Banner.
