HILL, Otro S. - Putnam

After an illness of several years Otro S. Hill, 67, of near here died at Culver hospital, Crawfordsville Monday morning. Death was attributed to complications. He was a brother in law to Thomas Ashby of this place. Ote as he was known to his friends here was born near here in 1872, a son of Clifton G. and Hattie Hymer Hill. He was married November 1899 to Ella Ashby, also of here. Hill was engaged in farming. He was a member of the Christian church here and Roachdale Lodge No. 602, F. & A. M. Besides the widow other surviving are Mrs. Otis Batman of here, Cecil Hill of Ladoga, a nephew an aunt and several cousins.
