HILL, Jesse - Putnam

Rev. Jesse Hill, one of the pioneer Methodist preachers of the Northwest Indiana Conference, died at his home in Frankfort yesterday. During the course of his long ministry he has served the Methodist people of Ladoga, Darlington and Russellville as their pastor. During the war he raised a company for the 72d Regiment, and was made a Captain, which position he resigned to accept the Chaplaincy. -s
