Andrew E. Hill, 70, died at his home, 1406 W. Sixth St, Wednesday at 4:45 pm.  He had been ill two weeks. Mr. Hill had been a resident of Muncie 16 years. He was a member of the Pentecostal Tabernacle and former employee of the Republic Iron and Steel Company.  He was a native of Putnam County. Surviving are the widow, Nora; two sons, Ray E. Hill, Star City and Hubert Hill of Muncie; two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Napier, Indianapolis and Mrs. Dorothy Truax of Muncie; 9 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two brothers, Austin and James Hill and sister, Miss Lillie Hill all of Belle Union. The body was taken to the Parson Mortuary and will be returned to the home where friends may call after 1 p.m. Friday. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Walnut Chapel near Belle Union with burial in the adjoining cemetery. - kbz

Andrew Hill, a well known former resident of Jefferson Township died Wednesday at Anderson, where he had resided for the past 15 years.  Mr. Hill had been ill for some time.  Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Nora Goodpasture; three children, Dorothy Truax, Ethel Craddick and Hubert Hill; several grandchildren; one sister, Lillie Hill of Belle Union and two brothers, James and Austin Hill, also of Belle Union.  Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 11 o’clock from the Union Valley Church.  Burial will be in the Walnut Chapel cemetery. – kbz
