HIGGINS, Harvey - Putnam

Harvey Higgins, 86, of near here died at Culver hospital, Crawfordsville, Tuesday morning. Death was attributed to the infirmities of old age and followed an illness extending over several years. He had lived with his daughter-in-law Mrs. Vigil Higgins on a farm near here the past several years. Mr. Higgins was a retired farmer and was well known in this community. He was born October 23, 1853, at Science Hill, Kentucky, and on February 25, 1884, he was married to Mary E. Higgins who died July 1, 1934. A son Virgil died December 11, 1936. Survivors include three grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services were conducted at the home this afternoon with Rev. Ray Britton of this place and Rev. O. M.
