HICKSON, Ida Harris - Putnam

Died at her home in Illinois on Aug 30 after an illness of four weeks, Mrs. Ida Hickson wife of Dennis Hickson and daughter of Andy and Catherine Harris. She leaves a husband and darling little babe three weeks old, father and mother, one sister and two brothers, besides a large circle of sorrowing relatives and friends to mourn for her.  She was brought back to her home here, where she was kept all night and buried in the Fordice Cemetery. Services at the house of Rev. William Evans. Dearest Ida thou has left us here; thy loss we deeply feel but t’was God that has bereft us; He can all our sorrows heal.  - kbz
