HESTER, Nora - Putnam

Mrs. Nora Edith Hester, 80, of New Market, sister of Roscoe Peffley, 2604 South St, died Sunday noon in the Kesterson Friendship Home in Ladoga. She had been in failing health six months and suffered two strokes recently. She was the widow of C. Roy Hester who died in 1963.  Surviving with the brother are three daughters, Mrs. William Gilliland of New market, Mrs. Stanley Trimble of Crawfordsville and Mrs. James E. Keys of Waveland. – kbz

Hester, Mrs. Nora E – Friends may call at Noble Reeves Funeral Home, New Market, where services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday the Rev. Walter Porter officiating; burial in Masonic Cemetery, Crawfordsville.  Surviving are five grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
