HESTER, Datha Myrl Rambo - Putnam

Funeral services were held Sunday, July 26 for Mrs. Datha Myrl Hester, 56, who died at 9:30 p. m. Thursday at the family residence in Russellville. Rev. Ralph Spencer, Martinsville, officiated at Russellville Federated church; burial in Union Chapel, Morton. Mrs. Hester, who operated Hester's Café in Russellville had been ill for six months. She was the wife of Dewey Hester, who survives. Born April 24, 1903, in Putnam County, she was the daughter of William and Orpha Webb Rambo. Mrs. Hester was a member of the Russellville Federated Church and Lawton Temple, Pythian Sisters. Survivors in addition to the husband are a brother, Clyde Rambo; niece, Carol Rambo and nephew, Wayne Rambo, of Cincinnati.
