HEROD, Strather - Putnam

Franklin, Ind Aug 19 – Strather Herod died at 12:55 this afternoon of Bright’s disease. Mr. Herod was born in Putnam County in 1846.  He served in the State Legislature represent this county in 1896 and 1898. He also served two terms as county commissioner. He leaves a wife and one son. He was a carpenter and contractor by trade – kbz
