HERBERT, Lawrence - WWI - Putnam

Hutchinson, Kan – Services for Lawrence Herbert, 77, who died Wednesday will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Johnson and Sons Funeral Home.  He was born in Cloverdale, Ind and came here 26 years ago. He was a retired state grain inspector and a member of American Legion, VFW and WWI veterans.  Survivors include his widow, Marguerite; a son, James, Kansas City and three daughters, Mrs. Fay Barber and Mrs. Rosie Wilt, both of Hutchinson and Mrs. Alice Buckner, Lincoln, Neb. – kbz
