HERBERT, Isaac - Putnam

Funeral services for Isaac Herbert, 89 years old of near Belle Union who died early Tuesday morning at the home of his son, William Herbert of Jefferson township will be held at the home of the son Thursday morning at 10:30 o’clock with Rev. WE Gill in charge.  Burial will be at Providence cemetery.  Death was due to a stroke of paralysis suffered about a week ago.  Mr. Herbert was a life-long resident of Putnam County.  Until the last few years he had lived in Cloverdale township but recently he had been making his home with his son in Jefferson township.  Survivors besides the son with whom Mr. Herbert lived are three sons, Marion of Springfield Colorado; Lawrence of Kreig, Colorado and Earl Herbert of Cloverdale; one daughter Mrs. Mae Finney of near Cloverdale and one brother, Joseph Herbert of near Cloverdale. ---transcribed by kbz
