HENDERSON, Frank W. - Putnam

Greencastle – Frank W. Henderson, 74, Greencastle, died Wednesday afternoon June 20, 1979 in Putnam County Hospital. Born in Kokomo April 9, 1905 he was the son of Walter and Edith (Hyde) Henderson. He was married in April 1926 to Frances Grimes, who survives. He was employed as a mill wright at Allison Diesel, Indianapolis for 13 years and was a farmer and operator of the Henderson Turkey Run in Greencastle until his retirement.  Also surviving are three sisters: Marie Kinsey, Hazel Mills and Lula Campbell, all of Kokomo and a brother, George Henderson of California.  A sister and a brother preceded him in death. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle with the Rev. C. Thomas Steiner officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Greencastle. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-9 p.m. Friday. – kbz
