Courtland Fredrick HELM only child of Fred and Clara Helm born Tuscola, Illinois June 27, 1914 died Sunday Nov 10, 1935. They moved to Russellville when he was 12 years of age. Death was due to an automobile accident 13 days before. Burial Tuesday in Russellville Cemetery.

Crawfordsville- Courtland F. Helm, 21, of Russellville, died
Sunday in Culver Hospital, bringing to five the toll of an automobile accident
a week before on US Road 41 near Jungle Park. Helms suffered a fractured skull.
He was employed as a bus boy at Turkey Run State Park hotel and the four others
killed were also employed there. The sixth and sole surviving member of the
party, Walter Taylor, 18 of Judson continues in a critical condition at the
Clinton hospital. - kbz
