HEDGE, William - Putnam

William Hedge, 66, of 303 Commercial, was dead on arrival at St. Elizabeth Hospital at 4 p.m. yesterday. The son of Jennie Burnett and John Wade Hedge, he was born April 14, 1902 in Putnam County, Ind. He married the former Dorothy Wright July 18, 1944 in Lafayette, Ind. She survives. Other survivors include four sons, Bill Eugene, Jackie Lee, Jimmie and Robert, all of Danville; a daughter, Mrs. Patsy Williams of Park City, Ill.; a step-daughter, Barbara Mitchell of Danville: a sister, Mae Marley of Albuquerque, N.M. and two grandchildren. A brother and three sisters preceded him in death. Mr. Hedge was employed as a night watchman at Noble Motor Co. He was a member of the American Legion and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. The Lakeside Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements which are incomplete.   ---waw
