Greencastle, Ind – Funeral services were held today for Walter R. Heath, 68, retired contractor who died Monday in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. He had erected numerous buildings over the state including fraternity houses and post offices. He also assisted in construction of the George Rogers Clark Memorial at Vincennes. On the DePauw University campus, Mr. Heath erected the fraternity houses for Phi Kappa Psi, Delta Kappa Epsilon, Phi Camma Delta and Delta Upsilon. He also built the Greencastle HS gymnasium, the Methodist Church at Muncie and the Sullivan County courthouse. He is survived by the widow, a son, Lt. Cmdr Vernon Heath, USN, Indianapolis; two daughters, Miss Mercile Heath, Greencastle and Mrs. Virginia Klein, Chicago and a sister, Mrs. Ida Hamaker, Greencastle. – kbz
