HEATH, Morrow J. - Putnam

Morrow J. “Doc” Heath, 70, former Muncie machinist, died Monday morning at his home in Cloverdale. Mr. Heath left Muncie about 15 years ago.  While here he operated a machine shop in the southern part of the city and was also employed for a time at the Ball Brothers factory. Surviving are the widow, a brother, Will C. Heath of Newcastle, and a sister, Mrs. Rebecca Keltner of Tampa Fla, formerly of Muncie. Many relatives reside in the county, including Merritt Heath, county recorder and Bennett Heath, of Muncie. His father, George Heath, came to Delaware County in 1829. He was a brother of the late Rev. Jacob W. Heath. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Cloverdale. - kbz
