HAZLETT, William Jaques - Putnam

Bellflower – William Jaques Hazlett, 71 of 5843 Briercrest Avenue, maintenance man at the Douglas Aircraft Company Long Beach died Tuesday in a Long Beach Hospital.  He was born in Greencastle, Ind and came to Long Beach 15 years ago, moving to Bellflower in 1942.  He was a member of Bethel Reformed Church.  Surviving are his wife, Olive; a daughter, Mrs. Wilma Jean McClendon of Bellflower; a sister, Mrs. Edith Gilbert.  Service will be Friday at 10 a.m. in Mottell’s Mortuary Chapel, Long Beach with Rev. Bernard R. Brunsting officiating. - kbz
