Former Muncie resident Lida Ann
Hazlett, 53, RR 5, Greencastle died Monday in Putnam County Hospital,
Greencastle. She was born in Muncie and moved to Greencastle, where she was a
beautician and supervisor in Heritage House Convalescent Center. She is
survived by her husband, Everett; a daughter, Kendra Hazlett, Greencastle, two
sons, Paul Gregory Hazlett, stationed with the US Forces in the Persian Gulf
and Jason Hazlett, Greencastle, six sisters, Betty Domenos, Greencastle, Rachel
Driscoll, Warren, Charlotte Duel, St, George, Utah; Thomasine Hedeen, Syracuse,
Utah, Mary Glain, Crawfordsville and Molly Hersh, Little Rock, Ark; two
brothers, George Brannon, Huntington and Charles Brannon, Muncie and two
grandchildren. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Hopkins Rector Funeral
Home, Greencastle, with Rev. Jerry Hyde officiating. Burial will be in Portland
Mills Cemetery, Greencastle. Calling
hours will be 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. – kbz
