Horace E. HAZLETT, for several years in charge of the Milligan Telephone exchange died at his home about midnight Thursday night last. He had been an invalid for a long time. He was the son of Samuel and Isabel Hazlett and was born in Putnam County March 24, 1861. He married Louella RATCLIFF Dec 24, 1889, who survives him. There are two children: Mrs. William Clark, Clinton and Mrs. Huston DePUE of Palestine, ill and 3 sons, Hallie of Indianapolis; Ewing of Star City and Lloyd of Evansville. Funeral services on Sunday afternoon at the Seceder Church near Portland Mills in charge of Rev. Robert Lewis. The casket was borne by Oris Reiter; Harry Ramsay; Neil McCLain; Paul Porter; Frnak Ball and Lowell Cunningham. The flowers were carried by Mary Lou Clark; Mary Lou Kitzmiller; Betty Lou Hazlett; Carmen Ramsay; Marjorie Houser and Ellen Dillsworth. Burial in Seceder cemetery.

Horace HAZLETT, 74, manager of the telephone exchange at Milligan for many years died Thursday. He was the son of Samuel and Isabel Hazlett and was born in Putnam County March 24, 1861. He married Loulelia Ratcliff Dec 24, 1889. Survivors are the wife, two daughters, Mrs. William Clark, Clinton and Mrs. Huston DePue of Palatine, illl. Also 3 sons, Hallie Hazlett of Indianapolis, Ewing Hazlett of Star City, Ind and Lloyd Hazlett of Evansville. Burial Sunday at Seceder Cemetery.
