Mrs. Hallie L. Hazlett 75, a long-time resident of Indianapolis, died at Community Hospital Saturday. She was born near Russellville. She had been an employee of Pierce Hallowell Lumber Company in Indianapolis. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Opel Clark of Russellville, a brother, Lloyd Hazlett of Evansville and eight nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the McGaughey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Leo Thompson officiating. Burial was in Portland Mills Cemetery. - kbz
