HAYES, Nellie Underwood - Putnam

Nellie Belle, daughter of Martha and Grant Underwood, was born June 12, 1890 and died at her home March 9, 1908 being at the time of her death, 17 years 8 months and 27 days old. She was united in marriage to Clarence Hayes and to this union was born one son, Wayne Edgar aged 2 weeks and one day. She joined the Lena ME Church about two years ago but was never taken into full connection.  She leaves besides her husband and little son a father, mother, one sister, Myrtle and four brothers, Claude, Ernest, Willie and Clyde to mourn her departure.
