Just as Rev.
OC Haskell of this city was finishing his sermon at Pleasant Valley, Parke
County on Sunday his voice failed him to such an extent that he had to close
somewhat abruptly and take a seat near by.
Members of the congregation went to him and discovered that he was
helpless from a stroke of paralysis and word was immediately sent to his family
in this city. On Monday the stricken man was brought home on the morning train
via the Big Four and conveyed to his home on East Hannah Street. It is hoped
that he will soon recover from this sudden affliction.
