HARTMAN, Arthur Pearle - Putnam

LaPorte – Services for Arthur Pearle Hartman, 90 of 3502 W Small Road who died at 6:50 p.m. Friday at LaPorte Hospital will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Weaver Funeral Home, Westville.  Burial will be in Pinhook Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. today and noon until 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.  Mr. Hartman retired as a postal clerk for the Westville Post Office.  He was born Sept 14, 1896 in Putnam County, Ind.  On Oct 13, 1919 in Indianapolis he married Maude Etcheson who died May 10, 1983.  Surviving are a daughter, Alice Wendt of LaPorte; a son, Arthur L. of South Bend; 3 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.  He was a member of Westville Trinity Lutheran Church and the Golden Agers – kbz
