HARTLEY, Mary - Putnam

Greencastle, Ind – Mrs. Mary H. Hartley, 87 years old, died yesterday in Putnam County Hospital. She was the widow of Samuel Hartley, a Civil War veteran.  Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Russell Pierce of Greencastle and Mrs. Cassell (Tassel) Boyle of Arkansas City, Kan; one son, Paul of Arkansas City, Ark; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Shafer of Greencastle and Mrs. Nellie Thompson of Cumberland. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Rector Funeral Home. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. - kbz
