HART, Elton - Putnam

Elton Hart, 62 years old, resident of Indianapolis more than 20 years, died Friday in San Gabriel, California.  Survivors include three brothers: Emerson Hart, Ernest Hart and Virgil Hart, all of Indianapolis.  Other survivors are the widow, Mrs. Bertha Hart; three daughters, Mrs. Everett Crockmore; Mrs. Jack Mang and Mrs. James Riley all of San Gabriel; a sister, Mrs. Mary Watson, Anderson, Ind and a brother, Earl Hart, Downer’s Grove, Ill.  Mr. Hart will be buried in the San Gabriel Cemetery of which he was superintendent after funeral services tomorrow. – kbz ---

Note: Elton was born in Putnam County, son of Ezekiel and Anna Kennedy Hart 6 April 1885 (Birth Record H-1 p 232) *tombstone says 1886 as does his WWI & WWII Draft – 1900 census and marriage 1885 (same day – that doesn’t seem to be the problem but the year is)
