HARSHBARGER, Olive Schultz - 1988 - Putnam

Olive Harshbarger, 82, died Wednesday morning at Timber Crest Health Care Center, North Manchester.

Born Feb 4, 1906 in Wabash County, she was the daughter of Cleo Shambaugh Schultz. Her mother is deceased. Mrs. Harshbarger taught school in Central Indiana, retiring after 29 years.

She married Albert E. Harshbarger on August 22, 1931. Her husband, a resident of the Timber Crest Home, North Manchester on Aug 22, 1931.  Her husband, a resident of the Timber Crest Home, North Manchester survives.  

Also surviving are two sons, Richard, North Manchester, and William, San Joseph a brother, Zeno Schultz, Akron, Ind; a sister, Mary Elizabeth Jaurique, Texas and five grandchildren.

Mrs. Harshbarger was a member of the Manchester Church of the Brethren.

She was also a member of the Indiana State Retired Teachers' Association.  Services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Timber Crest Home Chapel, North Manchester with Rev. John David Bowman and Rev. Timothy McElwee officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, North Manchester.  Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Friday at DeLaughter Mortuary, North Manchester.
