Charles O. Harshbarger, 68, well known farmer living east of Ladoga, was found dead in the bathroom of his home early Sunday morning by his grandson, Joe Ed Clark. It was thought he had suffered a heart attack. Mr. Harshbarger was a brother of Mrs. D. B. Hostetter of this place and D.H. Harshbarger of west of here. He was well known in this community. He was born west of here October 12, 1879, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Harshbarger. The widow, who survives, was the former Stella Boling. Other survivors are three daughters; Mrs. Russell Huckstep of Lebanon, Mrs. Darrel Steel of Jamestown and Mrs. E. G. Thompson of Danville and four grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the home with Rev. S. G. Smith of Ladoga in charge.
