HARRIS, J. Fred - Putnam

Brazil, Ind Oct 25 – J. Fred Harris, 68-year-old school teacher and farmer, died Friday at the family home, 508 East National Avenue.  He was a member of the Eel River Baptist Church. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Gladys Harris; two daughters, Miss Violet Harris at home and Mrs. Ruth White of Indianapolis; one sister, Mrs. Emma Hamm of Brazil; one brother, Charles Harris of Reelsville and two grandsons. The body was taken to the Lawson & Son Funeral Home and will be returned to the residence where friends may call Sunday afternoon – born Putnam County 24 Nov 1883
