LADOGA – Earl R. Harris, 80, died at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Ruark Nursing Home at Fillmore. He was born Dec. 30, 1888 in Greencastle, the son of Edgar and Auta Bryan Harris. He was married to Averile Shaw on Sept. 11, 1912 in Ladoga. She preceded him in death. He was a partner with his father in the Harris Milling Co. in Greencastle. He is survived by four nieces and two nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at Gephart Funeral Home here Thursday at 10:30 a.m., with Rev. Robert Cook officiating. Burial will be at the Ladoga Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. --– jlr
