Minnie Etta Harper, 61, died suddenly at 7:20 a.m. Thursday in her home at 8 Park Lane. Mrs. Harper came to Crawfordsville several years ago from Cloverdale where she was born. She had retained her membership in the Christian Church there. She was a member of the Athens Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, of this city. A daughter of Delaney and Lora Arnet Williamson, she was born on Jan. 16, 1906. She was married on Dec. 23, 1923, to David Harper in Cloverdale. Surviving are the husband; six brothers, Thomas, Clyde, Harvey, Woodrow and David, the Cloverdale area; a half brother, Arthur Williamson of Toledo, Ohio, and two sisters, Della Mason of Indianapolis and Mary Allen of Cloverdale. Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Clarence Barr of the Vincennes Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
