HARLAN, Bessie - Putnam

Bessie H. Harlan, 91, Crawfordsville, died Wednesday in St. Clare Medical Center.  Mrs. Harlan was a homemaker. She attended schools in Edmonton, Ky.  She was born May 9, 1910 at Allen County, Ky to William S. and Martha E. Holland Parish. She married D. Gilbert Harland on Aug 24, 1929 at Edmonton. He is deceased.  Survivors include four daughters, Dorlis Deaton, Greencastle; Rebecca Bushong, Richmond; Annetta Fields, Linden and Barbara Carter, Carmel; a son, Delmer, Pleasanton, Texas; two sisters, Ethel England, Edmonton and Lula Tidings, Glasgow, Ky and a granddaughter.  Three brothers and three sisters are deceased.  Funeral services are scheduled 2 p.m. Saturday in Burkhart Funeral Home, 300 S. Grant Ave, Crawfordsville with Rev. Tony Roe officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Cemetery. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. - kbz
