Frankfort – Rev. William L. Hargraves, 87, of Wesley Manor Methodist Home died in the health center at 4:50 p.m. Wednesday after an illness of several weeks.  He had entered the Home in 1963.  Born in Winslow, Ind he retired in 1945 after 40 years in the Methodist ministry throughout Indiana.  He graduated from DePauw University and Boston University School of Theology.  His pastorates included Bowling Green, Russellville, Jamestown, Walkerton, Plainfield, Morocco, Covington, Kewanna, North Judson, Monticello, Lowell and Oxford.  In 1905 he married Suda McFall who preceded him in death in 1966.  He was a member of Gobin Memorial Methodist Church of Greencastle.  Surviving are two sons: John C and Frank A, both of LaPorte and one daughter, Mrs. Helen H. Schafer of Elkhart.

William L – Calling in Memory Room of Wesley Manor from 9-10 a.m. Friday with Hartman Funeral Home of Frankfort in charge.  Services there 10 a.m. Friday in Amanda Reid Chapel.  Burial in Riverview Cemetery, Monticello.  Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.  --- transcribed by  kbz
