HARDWICK, John - Putnam

The funeral of John Hardwick, 72, who died yesterday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. William Legg, 1104 West Eleventh Street in Anderson will be conducted at 2:30 o’clock this afternoon at the daughter’s home.  Burial will be in Anderson.  Mr. Hardwick, a lifelong resident of Delaware County had been visiting at his daughter’s home since Tuesday.  He resided at 1811 South Liberty Street.  Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Legg and Miss Leona Hardwick, both of Anderson; two sons, Lawrence Hardwick of Anderson and three brothers, George Hardwick of Modoc; Everett Hardwick of Hagerstown and Thomas Hardwick of Greencastle.
