Raymond L. Harbison, 64, a prominent farmer, and life resident of Russellville and vicinity died Wednesday, October 19, at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville of a heart ailment, after being in the hospital only a few hours.

Born June 27, 1902, he was a son of Turner and Eva Grimes Harbison. He married Frances Sewe1l who survives.

Mr. Harbison graduated in 1921 from Russellville High School. He was a member of the Russellville United Church of Christ and the Russellville Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include, the wife, Frances; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Swearingen of Crawfordsville; two sons, Lowell of near Russellville and Robert of Greencastle; eight grandchildren; five brothers, Winfred of Detroit, Mich., Kenneth of Hammond, Clyde of Rapid City, South Dakota, John of Russellville and Ralph of Knox; a sister, Mrs. Vida Moore of Kokomo.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 P. M. Friday in the Russellville United Church of Christ with the minister, Justice Salwaechter officiating. Mrs. Olive White played selections on the organ. Pall bearers who also carried flowers were: Julius Grimes, Lee Evans, Bruce Williams, Herman Kelly, Clyde Carmichael and Shirley Evans. They were assisted in carrying the flowers by nephews and nieces. Burial was in the Hebron Cemetery south of Russellville.
