HANON, Elizabeth - Putnam

Died Jan 13th 1857, at the residence of Mr. Tico. (?) W. Kramer in Greencastle, Putnam Co, Ind Mrs. Elizabeth Hanon, in the 62nd year of her age.  Her disease being dropsy of the chest, she suffered much, yet bore her afflictions with Christian submission and patience, being assured that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that shell be revealed in us, and believing that “our light affliction which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,” she died in peace.  May our end be like hers!
