HANNA, Walter Parks

Walter Parks Hanna, age 71 died Sunday at 10 p.m. at his
home, 2539 North Alabama street, following an illness of 8 months. Mr. Hanna
was born in Greencastle in 1856, the son of John Hanna, United State
congressman from Indiana now dead. He was employed at the post-office for 37
years, staying six years over the retirement age. He was a graduate of Asbury
College which now is DePauw University. He is survived by the widow, Mrs.
Eilnor Vestal Hanna; three sons, John V, Howard P and Clinton R. Hanna; two
daughters, Katharine V. Hanna and Mrs. Josephine Hanna Bridgins and three
grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday evening at 7:30 o’clock at
the home. The body will be taken to
Greencastle Wednesday for burial. - kbz
