HANNA, James Andrew - Putnam

NORTH SALEM — James Andrew Hanna, 70, a former member of the Eel River Township Advisory Board, died Wednesday in his home at Bloomington.

He was a member of the North Salem Christian Church, Lions Club, Roachdale OES, Roachdale Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite of Indianapolis, Murat Shrine and Moose Lodge of Danville.

Mr. Hanna was a graduate of Roachdale High School and had attended Purdue University.
He was a retired employe of Allison Division of General Motors.

Mr. Hanna was born near Roachdale on Nov. 6, 1905, a son of William and Georgia Brothers Hanna. He was married to Irene Robbins on Aug. 6, 1937, at Indianapolis. She died in 1972.

Surviving are a son, Ronald, of Bloomington; two brothers, Allen of Greensburg and Robert of Plainfield; and three grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Porter Funeral Home here with the Rev. Earl Davis officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.   ---typed by Walt W
