HANDY, Wilma McMains - Putnam

Wilma P. McMains Handy, 93, Greencastle, formerly of Indianapolis died Thursday. Services will be at 3 p.m. today in Bittles & Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle with calling from 1 p.m.  She had owned and operated Handy’s Diary, Greencastle for 42 years with her husband, Bernard F. Handy. She retired in 1964. Mrs. Handy was a member of First Christian Church, Greencastle of which she was superintendent of the Sunday school program and group leader of Christian Women’s Fellowship. She was camp coordinator of the Girl Scout Council, Greencastle. She was the widow of Bernard Handy.  Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s favorite charity. Survivors: son, Norman L. Handy; daughters, Betty L. Levi and Anita M. Lemmink, 8 grandchildren 15 great grandchildren. = kz
