HANDY, John B. - Putnam

John B. Handy, 70 years old, of near Fontanet, died at his home at 10:30 o’clock Saturday morning. Surviving are the wife, Elizabeth; two daughters, Mrs. Florence Brock of Cory, Mrs. Dorothy Palmer of Terre Haute; three sons, Henry of Detroit and Charles and Arthur of Terre Haute; one brother, Algia of Russellville; two sisters, Miss Myrtle Handy of Russellville, Mrs. Elizabeth Lauther of Illinois; the stepmother, Mrs. Anna Handy of Russellville, and six grandchildren. The body was brought to the Thomas Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 10:30 Tuesday morning. Rev. Dean Ferguson will officiate and burial will be in Hull cemetery. – kbz
