HAMILTON, Steve - Putnam

The death of Steven Hamilton occurred at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. FN Derry in Madison Township at an early hour this morning.  Mr. Hamilton’s home is in Greenfield and he was here visiting his daughter. The cause of death is given as shock and collapse. His age was 84 years. The remains were taken to Greenfield on the afternoon train. Mr. Hamilton had just recovered from a long spell of sickness and the fatigue of the journey from Greenfield to this city caused his death but a few hours after his arrival at his daughter’s home.  (so sad – kbz)
