Mrs. Louisa K. Hamilton, 83, of Wayne County Rd 27 near Marshallville, died Friday afternoon at Dunlap Memorial Hospital in Orrville after a long illness. Mrs. Hamilton was born at Greencastle, Ind and resided for the past four years in the Marshallville area since the death of her husband, John. She was a member of St. George Catholic Church in Clinton and that church’s Altar Society and was a Gold Star Mother.  Surviving are two daughters, Miss Ruth Hamilton of Marshallville and Mrs. Doris Lemon of RD 2, Orrville; 10 sons, Ross and Frank Hamilton of Marshallville; Everett Lee Hamilton of Canal Fulton; Lawrence Hamilton of Tempe, AZ; Paul Hamilton of Greencastle, Ind; Eugene V. Hamilton of Manchester; William Hamilton of Orrville; Frederick and Russell Hamilton both of Akron and Charles Hamilton of Clinton; two sisters, Miss Ruth Grismer and Mrs. Rose Gillum, both of Marshallville and 34 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.  A son, Samuel was killed in the service in Vietnam (sic – WWII d 17 Jan 1945) and a son, Donald died in infancy.  The funeral will be held Monday at 9 a.m. in St. George Catholic Church in Clinton with Rev. Joseph Maygar officiating.  Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron. The body is at the Greaser Funeral Home in Orrville, where friends may call Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  The rosary will be prayed at 8 p.m. in the funeral home. - kbz
