Mrs. Lillian B. Hamilton, native of Bedford and wife of FS Hamilton, died Monday evening at the family residence at 6 Park Street in Greencastle after a long illness.  Announcement of her passing was received today by the Times-Mail in a long-distance telephone call from Sam Rariden, publisher of the Greencastle Banner.  The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Smith Bailey, Mrs. Hamilton was born Jan 9, 1871.  She married FS Hamilton in early life and they have been residents of Greencastle for a number of years.  She belonged to the Greencastle Christian Church and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, the Crescent Club and Reb ecca Lodge of that city.  Survivors besides the husband, are two daughters, Lt. Mary Glenn Hamilton, now stationed in Okohama, Japan and Mrs. WC Middleton of Greencastle; two sons, Lowell Hamilton of Birmingham, Ala and Francis Hamilton of Greencastle; three brothers, W. Lee Bailey of Carmel, Indiana; Robert M. Bailey of Martinsville and Fred Bailey of Dayton, Ohio.  Funeral services will be conducted from the McCurry Funeral Home in Greencastle at 2 p.m. Wed with the Rev. Ralph Sanders, pastor of the Christian Church officiating.  Interment will be made in Forest Hill Cemetery in Greencastle. - kbz
