HAMILTON, Edward C. - Putnam

Greencastle, Ind – Rites were held today for Edward C. Hamilton, retired bookstore owner and operator. He was 76.  A resident of Greencastle more than 70 years, Mr. Hamilton died in his home Monday.  He operated a bookstore bearing his name until illness forced him to retire six years ago.  He was a charter member and former exalted ruler of Greencastle Elks Lodge and a member of the Scottish Rite Masonic body and Gobin Methodist Church.  Survivors include the widow, Calita; a daughter, Marcia Fiorillo, New York and a son, Christian Hamilton of New Brunswick, NJ. - kbz
