Crawfordsville, Dec 23 – Death today shadowed plans for the holiday celebration of the inmatres of the Montgomery County Poor Farm. Plans for the annual Christmas tree and exchange of gifts among inmates were abandoned following the death of Samuel Ham, 72. All of the inmates will give what little money they have for purchasing flowers for Ham.
– Note according to his death record he was buried in Russellville, Indiana, son of Muhlenburg and Catherine (Proctor) Ham. Born: July 19, 1853 Died Dec 20, 1925 – laborer. Died of pneumonia with contributory problems of arteriosclerotic gangrene in left leg and foot. Dr. HA Kinnaman. - kbz
