HALTOM - William Ray

William Ray Haltom, 63 of Cloverdale RR 2, died Tuesday evening in the Mesa Lutheran Hospital in Mesa, Ariz.  He had been seriously ill for the last 5 days.  Born in Putnam County on July 4, 1915 he was the son of William A. and Alice Wildey Haltom.  On June 1, 1957, he married Murl Curtis Tudor, who survives. Surviving besides his wife are two daughters, Anna Mae Monnet, Cloverdale; Betty Davis, Somerset, Ky; a son, Jack Haltom, also of Somerset; a stepson, William Tudor, Monrovia RR 1 and 19 grandchildren.  Other survivors include a brother, Reece Haltom, Reelsville RR 1, and a sister, Ida Mae Timme, Indianapolis.  Haltom had lived in the Cloverdale are all of his life and was a retired turkey farmer. He belonged to the Eminence Christian Church.  Services will be Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock in the Whitaker Funeral Home in Cloverdale with Don Loftis officiating.  Interment will be in Cloverdale Cemetery and calling hours are after 2 p.m. on Friday. – kbz
