Born May 7, 1907; died Sept 27, 1907. Just one and a half years ago today, Since dear little Roy passed away. Sad and lonely is our home Where baby dear used to roam. Weary days and nights have we .. since his dear face we cannot see; God so loved and took away Roy dear on t his summer day. The sweetest, sacred spot on earth, that memory holds most dear
Is but a myrtle covered mound But Roy is sleeping them. Softly the stars are gleaming Upon a quiet grave; There sleepeth without dreaming One we loved but could not save.
Sweet and peaceful be thy rest, Forget you ! we can never, God called you; He alone knows best His will be done forever!
